My name is Cherie Efken, the owner of C. Estate Sales since 1994.

While C. Estate Sales is a smaller operation, we have a huge following of both regular customers and repeat clients. All of our new business comes from satisfied customers and realtors via word-of-mouth communication. In fact, our professional reputation has grown the business from just a few sales per year to more than 25 full and partial sales annually. We've accomplished this growth without incurring pricey advertising.

My love for staging homes and conducting estate sales stems from my education in Fashion Design, and degrees in both Business and Merchandising. Prior to C. Estate Sales, I worked in marketing management. The experience in marketing management, coupled with my education, ideally suited me to open C. Estate Sales.

Since the 1980's, I've lived in the Barrington area and nearby communities. While not limited to just Barrington, we've serviced it and surrounding suburbs with care and commitment.  My husband and I have two sons, ages 10 and 13, who also enjoy working the estate sales. I am fortunate to have a supportive family and dedicated team who love the treasure hunts as much as I do.
